I have been changing mobile phones before that I would want to own the latest model in the market. However, new models keep on coming out of the market that I find it impractical for me to buy again for the latest model. So I decided to just keep my cellphone and never buy a new one. I will only replace my phone if it's defective or a mobile network provider will provide a free phone for me for a subscription to their postpaid plans. The longest that I have used a phone is 3 years. I only replaced it when my contract with the mobile phone network provider lapsed and they gave me another new mobile phone for signing ip with them for another 2 years.

I tend to use my phone until it gets really really old. The phone I have now was a Christmas present, so I've only had it for a few months. Before that, I used a Nokia for over four years. I agree with you that cellphones are really getting cheaper and cheaper nowadays. Nevertheless, I don't like to keep changing phones because it's such a waste. When you throw out an old phone, what's going to happen? Will it be recycled? I don't think so. I can just imagine piles of computer and cellphone parts piled up somewhere in this world.

The cellphone that I kept for 3 years is red, sall and pretty. I like it very must, but it doesn't work now. I donot like to change cellphone so often. I just only change it when it doesn't work anymore.
