i just read in the paper in London a mother Carol Saldinack (51 years) sent her two sons luke 27 years and Oliver 24 years old to jail for attacking an innocent man and blinded him in one eye...the boys were under the influence of alcohol and launched an unprovoked attack on Marc parkinson, outside a takeaway after night drinking in West Sussex...Hats off to this mother who has taken this brave step of getting her sons punished for their doing rightfully..she informed the police abt her sons doings and thy have been arrested...i think it is very brave on the mothers part to take such a step? wt wud u have done? can u feel for another man misery and get ur own child punished 4 their wrong?

I would definitely turn my son in if he ever did anything like that. And by the time the police came to pick him up, he would be hurting from me hitting him with a ball bat. Those boys should do some serious time and I applaud the mother for having the guts to do the right thing. Most parents would have kept their mouthes shut and never told a soul. They wouldn't want to see their kids get into trouble.

I agree entirely, the mother should be commended. It would be extremely difficult, but by not taking such steps you're only accepting and supporting such wrong doings yourself, and not allowing your children to stand up and become responsible for their actions.

Yes she did absolutely the right thing. Her sons may not thank her for it but why should she protect them knowing they have broken the law and taken part in such a vicious attack on an innocent man.
I would feel guilty myself if I had sons who did something like that. I would ask myself if I they would be better men if I had brought them up differently. They are grown men and not children so they are responsible for their own actions but a mother must wonder why and how they could have gone so wrong.

It must have taken the mom a lot of courage and conviction to do such an act. Really hats off to her for being so unselfish and true to society.
Generally there are many mommies who would have kept quiet and they would have saved their children. This one is different and is a role model for all other moms. Really hats off to her...

I would turn my sons in for that.I would also as a mom be embarrassed, and wonder where I went wrong in raising them.
