This phenomenon is growing and growing extremely quickly these days and the number of websites having the functionality for social networking is also growing. I have a come across some very interesting new technology which professes to be able to create the same level of functionality for every single website on the WWW and every SINGLE PAGE from each website also. In other words, you will be able to interact with someone else who is browsing the exact same page as you, leave comments, rate the site, chat, blog, etc. This seems to me to be an incredible advance in internet technology if it becomes real, which it is expecting to happen on the 1st of July, 2008. This particular event already has around 70,000 people who have signed up for free just to check out the site and what it's all about. I have signed up myself and also checked for any sign of scam material and so far none has been forthcoming. The more I listen to the webcast which they have every thursday evening on the site, the more I believe this could really be a massive phenomenon to compete with the likes of 'Google' and 'Youtube'!! This really is worth checking out just for the novelty value if nothing else. I really haven't seen anything else approaching the potential of this new technology and potential is what this site is all about.
