I work most weekends but so long as my husband is also working it doesn't really bother me. It's when he has two days off and I am at work that sucks. On the plus side I get days off in the week and as my schedule is different every week I NEVER get that Monday morning feeling as I lose track of when Monday is! So do you work weekends or is it play time for you?

I have a very erratic working schedule with three part-time jobs. This week-end I'm off but from next week-end I shall be working again in my job as relief hotel receptionist will become more demanding. I will be covering the regular staff as they each take time off for their summer holidays. That's fine by me though because I get paid more at week-ends
I actually prefer to work week-ends and have time off in the week. There's less hassle in the shops and the offices are open too.

Oooooh juggling three jobs I'd lose track lol Yes weekends do give the perk of extra money although I only get an extra $1 an hour on Sundays but it all adds up at the end of the year. Your definitely right about everywhere being quieter mid-week when we get to shop etc, another definite perk.

I think juggling three jobs is probably easier than juggling one job and a hubby with all that that entails (food, washing etc.)

We get only one day off so I prefer to do my household chores on weekends instead of working in office. At times there is so much of work at home that it hardly looks like a weekend.Only on a second saturday we get two days off then only it looks like weekend. In some event at office or if there is some sort of seminar then only I work otherwise on weekends I stick to home.

As a writer I am self employed, and I am able to wok wheneer the heck I want. Since I enjoy doing wat I do, very much, I'm happy to work on weekends. I just take my computer with me to the cafe, and work from the comfort of my faourite chair.
