Have you ever been determined to make something work?

Yes i have. When i was in my early 20s, newly divorced and with two children to raise on my own (with no finacial or any other kind of help) I went back to school to be a nurse and it was the hardest thing that i had ever attempted, several times i wanted to just throw up my hands and give up but knew that my i was the only one my children had to depend on to support them and i couldn't quit! I graduated and worked in my chosen field for over 20 years. and never once thought that we would have been better off if i had given up.
