I think the best thing about coming home from holiday for me is that I can get back to my work, which I think I love more than holidays! Some may think this odd and that I am rather sad, but I have been to so many places at home and abroad, working when I was a musician and on holiday, and it all seems so familiar to me now. Airport - coach or hire car, hotel and all the touristy things. From week to week my work never seems to be the same. Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed my travels, but perhaps I've become desensitized... Or just sad..LOL

The best thing about coming home for me is my animals. I will take my dog with if I can but my cats and ferett have to stay home. They will attack as soon as I get home and I love it. I so miss cuddling with my animals when I am away.

Welcome back. I never leave my home anymore for much of anything. I know that it is awful but it is so true. I love being at home. that is the only place that I feel safe anymore. People don't like the looks of me or the sound of my voice, it seems, so I hide from the world. I keep to myself. I love being at home because I do not have to worry about if people like me or not. I like being able to work online and speak to others with the same issues also. I think I have actually become a hermit though because I am so tired of being treated badly by others. It is important for me to be at home and work for my family though.

well, i must admit, i dont leave anything like as much as i used to do but every now and again i enjoy breaking away. Im not wanting to do it every weekend or anything stupid, but once a year or so is enough for me

My daughter and my bed. Home is a place where you know no one can harm you no matter what comes. My daughter is my strength from all battles in life, whether near my home or away from home, and my bed gives me rest from everything that I had to battle. It's always great to be home, no matter how relaxing the trip was to other places.

Hmm, just reading the title makes me feel home-sick already. There's really a magical feeling everytime I go home which happens very, very rarely.
I think the best thing I always look forward to when coming home was going by the seaside eating young coconut and roasting fresh fish.
Also whenever I go home it makes me nostalgic of my happy childhood. Those days when I was chasing butterflies, dragonflies and grasshoppers in an open field.
It's just nice to be home.

The two best things for me is coming home to my dogs and also tea in a mug! Sounds daft but when I'm abroad it's alwayts served in measly little teacups that I cannot get more than three or four gulps of so I always look forward to having a mug of tea and sitting on the sofa cuddled up to my dogs! x
