There are two choices that you can choose from to what line to use. Postpaid, there is a fixed amount to pay monthly and if it exceeds you pay extra charge for it. While others prefer prepaid cause it controls them to use their calls and the texts. In my case, I prefer prepaid cause I don't normally use my phone everyday, cause I'm not really a very busy person, and I usually see my friends like once in 2 weeks. So what about yourself, do you prefer using a prepaid or a postpaid? =D

Prepaid seems to be more expensive. Many people go overboard. I prefer my contract. Aside from that the service you receive. I think it is easier to go post paid with customer service people. Friends have had problems with prepaid.

Well I guess it depends on the service and the contract. Perhaps like in the Western countries, post paid would be better choice. =)

It depends on the lifestyle and what the main use of the phone is. Post-paid lines are cheaper due to the contractual obligations that you should have like minimum airtime and sms for a fixed amount, etc.
For work-related calls and sms that requires a lot of flexibility, I would suggest post-paid accounts. For personal communications that requires less flexibility and more control in terms of cost, pre-paid is better.
Good day!

I used to have a postpaid phone but I ran up bills in excess of thirty thousand pesos so I tried prepaid ones which suits me fine. It doesn't bother me if sometimes I have no load and it is sometimes convenient when you do not reply and then make excuses like not having any load.

Hi smooch091784..
I will definitely choose prepaid for my cellphone.
I've been using prepaid since I got my first cellphone.
Prepaid is much better if we don't want to worry for our cellphone monthly bill. With prepaid we can control our load expenses.
Have a nice day..

actually availing post paid service is best for those who used their phones most of the time. it is more cheaper and convenient for them since they don't have to worry of running out of balance.
but for like us who doesn't have any business to get busy with, prepaid will be preferable.
i actually can consume 50pesos(1.10$) in a week for my cellphone load.
since i usually communicate with my boyfriend through yahoo messenger.
i only used my load for important messages.

It all depends on the usage... I have a postpaid myself... If I got a prepaid, I wouldn't be able to afford it... My cell. phone is only phone I use... Although I have a phone at home, I'm only paying real basic for it... I pay about $40 bucks a month for home phone & that includes DSL internet service... And for that reason, I have to have a phone line... I have a phone/answering machine combo unit in the kitchen & computer hook to DSL line, that's it...

Based on your usages you can select the Prepaid or Post paid..
You will get some of the benefits in the post paid, like some of the provider have give you the free calls munutes etc..
In the prepaid you can select some of the numbers and talk to them at low rates per minutes..
So, when you go for a mobile, you have to select the prepaid or post paid, based on your usages only, since you have to pay some fixed charges as rent if you opted for the Post paid.. so, think twice or thrice before selecting the prepaid or post paid..
Even now a days, you will get life time Cards, which is very cheap in prices, and this is offered in the prepaid schemes.. if have more incoming calls.. you can opted for this.. this is very cheapest way of talking..
and also, the recent offer from one of the providers in our country, is "Vergin" mobile, they offer you for your incoming calls..
You will get 10 paise per minute of your incomeing calls.. How is it..??
So, choose according to your usage..
All the very best.

if i were to be asked, it really depends on how you use your phone. if you do a lot of business, or not, but uses a lot of credits, in a constant way, postpaid is better for you. but if you seldomly text or call, prepaid will suit you better. as for me, i am a prepaid user, but i want to convert and have a postpaid contract because in a month, i consume 600 pesos ($13). and i get to pick a phone that goes with the plan too! hahah.
