He didn't mean to rude but...

The only thing that I can say that he is a very straight foward person. Sometime it hard for a person to take it.

for me he is rude...he can be honest without offending others..he uses offending words...well that is just my opinion!

I this Simon is Fantastic. He is what keeps me watching American Idol. He is honest but rather brutal about it yet so many people do not realize that Simon is VERY generous donates millions to charity and so many of the contestants who do not win American Idol get support, backing and contracts from Simon after the show is over. His TV persona is very different from the real Simon.

he is honest if thats rude, as so many he has told were bad singers really were just plain awful. truth is truth' whether we like it or not. better to stop people who are not 'talented before they really get hurt. no I sort of admire the guy as the others are more timid about expressing the truth.

...he can't help to be honest. I'm not holding any grudges against Simon, he's actually my favorite judge! His comment is what I anticipate most as it looks like he has the most honest comments...He's being nice in that way because his words make the contestants work really hard..and the contestants really believe in whatever Simon says...right?
