With the soaring gas prices, and no relief in sight my mind keeps spinning with the what-ifs of the near future. The rising cost of gasoline is affecting everything whether we realize it or not. The truckers have discussed strikes due to the fact that they can no longer make any money transporting. Food, clothing, fuel, milk, deliverys, cars, and anything shipped by truck will no longer be arriving. What will we do? The cost of living has increased so drastically with the rise of fuel cost, but I do not see a rise in Americans pay to make up the difference. All the middle class Americans will now be low class. We will no longer be able to afford simple things like food, groceries, electric bills, etc. Many of the middle class will be appling for Federal and State aid, which will put more strain on an already weak economy. Many companies will start laying their workers off due to the fact that Americans can no longer buy their cars, clothes, and luxury items. Do you see the ripple effect this is having on us? What are your thoughts?

gas prices are increasing everywhere....and as we all know, once gas prices rise, the price of all the basic commodities start rising as well..... it used to be that our budget is this much, but with the increasing prices, it is just not enough anymore.... it is not just the below average income families that are having a hard time to cope with this, i think even the families who used to think that they are average income or even above average income....what used to be affordable are not so affordable anymore....
