Has anybody here ever tried using a neti pot? I suffer from constant sinus pressure and headaches, and I'm wondering if a neti pot might be useful.
For those who don't know, a neti pot is a natural remedy from India, where you basically tip saline solution into your sinuses using a specialized pot with a long spout. The idea is to rinse the saline through your sinus cavities and out the other side - taking with it mucus buildup, pollution, allergens and bacteria.
Now I just have to figure out where in Toronto one can buy one!

I have friends that have utilized it but only with the assistance of an ENT doctor. I've been told that improper use can actually cause damage or even cause you to get infections. It's my understanding that most any Natural or Herbal Stores carry them.

I have read that if you blow your nose to hard afterwards you can drive the liquid (along with the crap it's carrying) into your inner ear.
Thanks for the warning.
