So okay, I was supposed to start this discussion last night after I cried my eyes out watching P.S. I Love You, but as usual my DSL connection was down. Fortunately, it's working now and I can start this.
Last night, since I can't go online and there's nothing good on TV, I decided to watch Gerard Butler's and Hilary Swank's P.S. I Love You, for the second time. The first time was in the cinema with my guy friend and his girlfriend. Last night I watched it alone. Alone. In my bedroom. I cried the first time and I cried again last night. Gerard Butler was so good and I love his character totally. I fell in love and I cried.
Other movies that made me cry, sad, happy and in love all at the same time are (P.S. I Love You is now my NUMBER 1 movie):
A Walk to Remember - Landon's a really good guy.
Armageddon - Bruce Willis and Liv Tyler's scene moved me.
Titanic - Yeah, that jack and Rose thing.
She's The Man - I didn't cry but I love Channing Tatum and Amanda Bynes.
Now, I would like to know what movie/s have made you teary-eyed or made you cry, made you fall in love and you really felt the emotion of the movie. Maybe I haven't seen it yet. Let's share it here!

I like Good Luck Chuck the most,i'm not into this romantic comedy thing, but this movie had really made me laughed a lot,as well as some sorrow feelings as this movie shows us how a passion in love makes us resist things that we usually couldnt resist,a fear of losing someone that u love.

I've seen that movie too. You should watch "The Note Book" (in the book too), "The Lake House", "Sleepless in Seattle"( old movie, but one of my fav)
Other movies that is not really a love story but are really touchy: "The pursuit of Happyness" and "Kramer vs. Kramer" (this is again rather old movie). These last two are about family and life. Kramer vs. Kramer is about the fight for a child's custody. These are movies that I think would make you cry.

Yep. The Pursuit of Happyness teaches us a lot of lessons in life. (aside from spelling the word correctly. LOL!) It's about courage, patience, perseverance, relationship, success. It's a nice movie.

White Oleander- Michelle Pfeiffer and Renee Zellweger play in it. I found it very touching.
I don't know if you are fine with foreign movies and if you do, you should defenitely check these movies:
-A millionaire's first love (korean)..Crying guarantee
-One liter of tears (Japanese)..crying guarantee
-A love to kill (Korean drama)...it gave me a heartache
-August's first snow (korean drama)...same as a love to kill
You can look for them on:
mysoju.com or youtube.com
They all have subtitles.

i like so totally love all those movies you mentioned-although i prefer armageddon over titanic.i know practically the whole world loves jack and rose, but i dont know..it made me cry the first time but not the second.one viewing was enough for me.if i start listing movies for you,i'm not gonna finish today! but i will tell you which movie i recommend, perhaps you saw it already.it my all time favorite-pride and prejudice.the producers could not have picked better actors.mattew and keira.they portrayed darcy and lizzy perfectly.you can't help but fall in love with darcy! i loved it so much that i even ventured to hunt for the book and purchase it!thats how good it was(to me atleast).if you've seen it and liked it,try the book.its way better than the movie.although i loved the settings in the movie, better than the book, for when darcy proposed to lizzy and she turned him down.with the rain and thunder...man it was great!!

Ooops! I haven't seen Pride & Prejudice yet. Would you believe that? Okay, I'm going to add that title to the list of movies I'm going to watch. Thanks!
By the way, if I were to choose between Armageddon and Titanic I would so definitely choose ARMAGEDDON.

Actually the second I saw the topic I thought PS I Love you, that movie was so amazing and sad. I didn't actually cry during the titanic, I was younger when I saw it, and it didn't phase me at the time. Now of course it would. A Walk to Remember made me cry. I'm trying to think of more, but the ones you listed were the ones I thought of as well. I also agree with Armageddon. Imitation of Life is one that I thought was really sad, it's an older movie, I saw it on TCM if that says anything. It made me cry a little. The Waitress was sad, but not quite tear enducing. Penny Serenade kinda made me tear up, that's another old one. Premonition made me cry a little, although I'm not sure it's supposed to be sad, but it was. The Sisterhood of the Traveling pants made me cry too, not the saddest movie ever by any means, but it had a sad moment. Simon Birch also made me tear up. There is a huge list of movies that made me cry a little, but so far PS I Love you has probably done the best job at that. You listed most of the ones that made me cry the most.

For me, it will be, Sweet november, starring keanu reeves..
And also korean movies like My sassy gal, whereby the guy will gladly let her wear his shoes in the streets.. hehe..
And also, windstruck.. Especially the last part when his spirit has come back and together with the song played, knocking on heaven's door.. It was just so touching that i cried too.. hehe ^_^ It's my favorite show among all..

(sob). It was Titanic, I really can't forget that. It was 1997, me and my girlfriend saw it at SM North Edsa (one of the malls here in Manila). The part that made me cry was when the ship started to sink, and the band started to play that melody. People were already panicking and some are running aimlessly around trying to look for something that could save them. The life of Titanic was slowly fading away. (sob)

The Notebook always gives me renewed faith in my relationship. I absolutely love the movie(with Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling). The movie does a great job of describing the ups and downs of relationships, as well as everlasting love. In fact, I think I might watch the movie now...

P.S I Love You and The Note Book these two make me cry everytime I see them. But do we really need a movie to make us aware of the love we have for our partners?

well, titanic is a real tear jerker. in regard to romantic movies, i can't remember one that made me cry. but if we're to talk about a non-romantic movie, my bet is the pursuit of "happyness". it's an inspirational movie & my heart really dropped during the scene where they were forced to move out of their apartment. they went to a railway station & will smith tried to comfort his son. they slept in the station's restroom. someone outside was banging on the restroom's door. will smith was crying while hugging his sleeping son.
