Ok. I like both, but I think cat's are to "afraid". Dogs are also dumber (Usually, but the smart dogs are really smart), so I find them more funny :)

Thanks, really useful comment. I guess they are similar to people, and if they get more healty food they are more active..

i like them both. i dont have a favorite. neither of my cat or dog really hide or run away, but rather they both tend to be restless like bored children. they both tend to be playful and loving. they are both cute and smart. so i dont really have a preference. it all depends on my situation and what i have room for.

all animals get lazy and slow as they get older, as well as people.

I guess they do, but most cats get lazy when they are like 1 year old.. That's about 10 years for a human or something, right? They shouldn't be lazy so soon.

Oh.. I feel like cats run away when you get near them, and they are lazy when they get older.. At least every cat I've ever met..
But, everyone are different.

My husband and I are both cat people who think that cats rule and dogs drool. LOL We think that cats are easier to take care of because we don't hae to take them outside all the time, and they are OK if we go away overnight.

Yeah, the good things about cats is that you don't have to take them out all the time, but they are more friendly that cats I think. I like young cats, but when they get older they are just lazy, and walk away from you...
Cats are easier to take care of, but I still like dogs better :)

the best pet? hmmm lemme see, hmmm my boyfriend I guess? LOL. kidding.
Anyway, I love dogs because they are soo cuddly and sweet. I love it when they are so protective of me. My dog chucky will always make sound and gets angry whenever my boyfriend will act and joke around to make it appear that as if he's hurting me, my dog chucky surely bark as if theres no tomorrow. hehehe. I love it when he does that. It made me feel like I am so loved by my doggy.. aaaww sweet. LOL. I guess I'm a little bias to this question because I only got a dog and I havent tried owning a cat. well I am sure satisfied of my dog chucky, so I still vote for the canine!! =)

Hmmm best pet? hmmm lemmee see,, hmmmm -- my boyfriend? LOL Kidding.
Anyway, for me I think its the dogs. I love dogs because they are soo cuddly and soo sweet. maybe I am a little bit bias with this answer because well, dogs are the only pets I have right now, and yes, I am so satisfied with my dog chucky.

well...i am kinda scared of cats n dun really like them....so i'd say that m a dog person....cats are not for me !

I like dogs. They are loyal and protective. They will bark when they hear or see something out of the ordinary. I have 3 Chihuahuas, and they always let me know when something is going on.
Cats don't do this, which is one reason I prefer dogs...

I think each person has a specific pet type of character. Pets also have their own moods and adaptability skills-- my cat won us over and basically has us right where she wants us. She's sweet and loving-- even though we're dog people, we've conceded to being 'cat people'
