Have you ever had a pen friend?

When i was at school i had a pen friend. Her name was Karen Lammers. I remember she lived at Nebraska. We used to write letters to each other and we corresponded pretty well for about two years. Then i went on to college and we had some changes at home and i could not write to her.
I would like to renew my ties with her. But i am not able to relocate her. Writing to the same address might be of no use i think. And i do not have time for that.
Here i see many posts from nebraska. So if anybody could help pls tell me . She had a large family and that is all i remember.
How about you people?
did you have a pen friend whom you have not ever seen in person but have written letters to?

I had some when I was in secondary school(about 40 years ago ). I posted my name and address in a penpal section of a magazine. After a month, one day I received about 100 letters. There were all from my pen-pals. I chose some interesting ones and replies their letters. And the contacts continued for a few years until I worked in another country .

Yes, I used to have penfriends when I was younger, from all over the world. I loved writing and receiving letters. I still have a few penfriends, but only in the UK as it is expensive to post overseas now. I don't have much time these days for writing letters either, with being a mum of four teenagers.
As for finding your old penfriend, you could try looking at Facebook, as I have found some old penfriends there and got back in touch with them. Good Luck!

But I never have a penfriend although I always dreaming of that.
