How many of you have made online purchases?

Yes, I shop online for most everything. It is safe as long as you order from reputable, established companies and ensure that the order page (where you type your credit card #) is secure (look for the little lock symbol in the lower right of the browser screen).

I've made hundreds of them and never had a problem. I much prefer shopping online to shopping in stores. That is such a hassle.

I love shopping online. Saves my from having to fight the crowds in the stores. As far as safety precautions, the best thing is to make sure you are on a secure site. Being on a well known site it also a good thing. And when possible pay with your credit cards because if a purchase doesn't arrive or you have any problems you can always contact your credit card company and they can help you. But if you are on a well known and secure site you shouldn't have any problems.
