Each of us has a family. Be it your parents, husband, kids, or siblings. Can you tell me the things that you love doing together? When my dad comes over to visit, our bonding moment is talking about what is happening to his life and my life, nowadays. My mom died when I was three, so it has been my father all along. Until now, I can still open up to my 73 year old dad and he can still give me sound advices. With my husband, a time alone without the kids. Be it a candle lit dinner or a home movie, cuddling each other. The kids, like to stroll in the park and play. Simple things it may be, but these are the moments I would always cherish. How about you, do you have any?

It's just my husband, my two year old and me most of the time. My family (and my husband's) is over 1000 miles away, so we don't see them very often. For bonding time with my husband and son, we just hang out at home most of the time. We watch nascar every week all together. We also play outside a lot. We just bought my son a playhouse like the one that he loved playing in at an indoor playground near here. I think he will have so much fun playing in it! My husband put it together tonight, and my son and I will probably go out and play in it tomorrow afternoon.

We are quite busy as indiiduals, so those moments are usually rather spantanious, when we all have some time together. For example, today my mother, step-dad and I all had a chance to have coffee together, when they came into town to drop something off to me. I met them at the cafe, and they stayed and had a coffee with me.

My family (partner & daughter) have trouble spending 'FAMILY' time together, as the rest of my family (well, Mum & sister) seem to think they have to be with us every time we do anything & it kind of gets a little much. The 3 of us (partner, daughter & i) will have a decent bonding time in a few days, which i am very thankful for. We're taking our little girl to the zoo for her 2nd birthday - just us, no-one else to spoil the bonding time. It's hard to have bonding time when your Mother thinks that family is only a word used to describe a situation when she's there & involved. It is hard but we're getting there. This zoo trip will also be a good thing for our daughter as it will be just the 3 of us - before her baby brother is due to be born! So i hope she'll look back on all the photos we'll take & realise we did do things together & there was a time before our family became 4! I do spend time with my parents & sister (my brother lives interstate) & those visits are ok but they're very frequent so it's not like they ever miss out on anything & to be honest, i think they only want the time with my daughter, the time with me isn't as important to them.
