What Do You Do When No Discussion Interests You?

You have browsed almost all of the discussions, be it the today's top, new discussions, recent or the discussions your friends started. You are already in the last few pages and still nothing. Either you dont know anything about what they are talking about or you simply dont know what to say. Has this ever happened to you?

I have a technique in choosing a discussion that interests me most. Usually we looked in the today's top discussions, new discussions, recent discussions, etc., but still find nothing that interests you most. I actually search a discussion. In that manner, I will get focused on a specific and particular discussion only that really get my attention and have a lot of knowledge to share with. :-)

Yes this does happen. Somedays it seems I go through many pages before I find something that interests me enough to respond. I usually find something to comment about. If I am spending too much time or apparently not in the mood to respond or start a new discussion I just come back the next day.

Morning Eihdra Well if you have gone through all of them..either look farther back from the past year,6 months or check your interests and search there. If nothing, then start your own discussions like you did here.

It never happened with me on mylot. Its really a good site. There is always something that matches your interest. I think it will never happen to me. I have so many friends over here at mylot and thier interests match with the mine. Mylot is the best place to have fun, share feelings on the net.

The only thing I would do is to keep cycling through the "Discussions" part of MyLot until something interesting comes up. If there isn't any, I keep doing the same thing.

That happens sometimes.....specially when you've been on mylot everyday and spending at least a couple of hours, you find that there's nothing else to reply to. Everything has a point of saturation I guess. Most of the time I would try and browse some more but it's always the duplicate posts that get to me and help me decide to give it a rest for a while. You can always start a new discussion......

That is the cool thing about Mylot...there should be some discussion somewhere that interestes you! The first thing I do is flip back a few pages on the new discussion board, then I hit my favorite topics and if still nothing hits me I use the search bar and type in a topic and search for something. Sometimes I just walk away and check back later or even start my own topic. What is one of your favorite topics to respond to?

I usually will do other things when there are no discussion that interest me and come back after a hour or so. We get many new discussion so doesnt need to wait too long for a discussion that interest us ^^ But sometimes I will be too tired to reply so I only read trough them and did not give any response.

You go search through, and download add-ons for firefox. This kinda follows that old saying- if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all. Except, its more like "if you dont have anything to say, just dont say it."

Not really! to me there seems to be 100's of discussions going on here all the time. I've went back to pst dicussions before and found some interesting ones. Even though they all ready have given out a best response I've still voiced ny opinion. Hope this helps! tdemex

yes, it happened to me very much right at this moment until I found your topic. there are times that you have no idea to response to the discussions posted in here and you end up browsing almost everything and finally when you are almost to give up, you will find one. I think this is normal to happen to almost all of us here. But just keep on going and searching something of interests. Oh!! I've just discovered that this topic is already 2 months ago, but anyway, I like to response to this...
