Yes, I keep a diary every year. I travel a lot to many countries on business trips. I need to keep a record of people I met and things I discussed with them so that I won't forget or miss the points. It is mainly in connection with my job.

Yes, I do. I have been keeping a journal since I was eight. I'm now in my nth volume. Unfortunately, I've lost most of my old journals.
It's actually fun to keep a journal. It keeps me sane, too. I can pour my heart out without being afraid of being judged or scoffed at. The best part is re-reading my journals years after I have written the entries. It makes me remember all those happy times more vividly, and it also helps me understand why I am the way I am now and why things are they way they are. I am also able to trace the journey that I've taken and this helps me know where I'm going. It helps me see the direction that my life is taking.

I think it is good habit to keeping diary, which gives you a chance to ponder your life and organize your life. But on the other side, people usually put a lot of personal secrets in the diary. If the diary is not kept in a safe place and read by some rumor-moger,it can cause serious damage to the owner's life.
