My rude reply would be to tell you to take it back wherever you got it. Never get a pet without doing research! You're setting both of you up for failure.
My more politically correct reply would be: how old is this puppy? what breed? If it's older and has been eating solid food for awhile, a good quality puppy food should be adequate.
Meanwhile, find a good vet to get what shots and maintenance medications it needs, ASAP. They'll be able to tell you more about feeding, care, etc.

Why would you get a puppy if you haven't got a clue how to take care of it?
I would suggest learning those things BEFORE bringing a pet home!
There are plenty of books out there, internet articles, etc.
How old is this puppy? What breed? How long has it been eating solid food? Any regular puppy food found in your grocery or department store should work fine, but how you prepare it will depend on the answers to the above questions.
