I do think space exploration could be done more efficiently by private industry, rather than the government. Look how outdated the computer systems of the space shuttle are - if private investors funded space travel I think we would have more innovation and discovery wouldn't come at taxpayers' expense.

I don't think we spend too much time on it. And really... who is we? Because the majority of the populace is spending zero time on space exploration, so I don't really think it's an issue.

i think its ok to spend too much on space, who knows we might discover a better planet than earth.. or meet an alien and introduce us new technologies..

I don't think we spend enough on it. After the human race is done ruining the environment, we will need a place to start over and hopefully have learned from our mistakes.

I think we need to find more on space. Note that it is always the quest to find new things that has been driving new finds, new invetions. Discovery throws challeneges and makes humans want to innovate, invent, those innovations, invetions generally benefit mankind in general in the long run, so I think, more effort should be spent in space exploration rather than on arms adn military.

No, I think we spend too much on wars and such. While growing up I was so excited about space exploration but it seems to have fizzled out.
