I have the felling as you had, mostly i can spend hours or the whole day with surf on line without a definite aim.i sometimes disapoint about this bad babit i have, but the temptation for surfing online is one of the most hard things for people to resist. As you mentioned,so many things can attract you so much when you doing things online, such as have a talking with people, visit various of websize:like News Unit, personal blog and so on.Huh,i find myself spent too much times on those things.
Without a doubt, the internet is more convenient than other traditional media, like TV,vedio,newspaper..etc.you should focus on that the fact is internet is bran-new media, that you not only can receive some informations from it,but exchange and talk with people throught it as well, what an amusing invention! since the Internet came to us,all of ours life change a lot(in a active way,of cause).

Computer addiction is considered a kind of illness nowadays. It is alarming if you spend hours online without a definite aim. You know, there is a way to get rid of the habit. You should go to a place where there is no electricity, no internet, like the woods, and spend a week or two there. If you do not have such a place to go to, think about a 2-week excursion, trip, sanatorium, other holiday homes, just change the place. It will let you feel more independent from the Web. Just it is very easy to get back to internet after you "reconnect"...

I love the internet, too, but I've found a way to make a little money from it while I play on it. Of course, you've already found a place like Mylot. But, you can also sell things and the like. That way, you don't have to feel guilty for being on the net for a long time. I think there's even a place where you can get paid for doing searches, too, but I'm not sure.

i know what you mean, i have been on the internet before looking for something and got caught up with something else that is going on in the internet world...and i would look at the clock and like a few hours have gone by and i didn't even realize that that amount of time had gone by...its amazing just how much time you can spend on the internet at one time!

That is also happened to me. Sometimes I set my schedule to do something but I have to change it after I used my computer to surf Internet. I try to change this habit but I can't do that.
