The last movie I watched...

The last movie I watched was called "Dealing Dogs" and let me tell you, I enjoyed it. It was about an animal rights activist who goes undercover to work at a big class B dog dealer (they buy dogs from people for like 10 bucks and resell them to research places for about $250 each.) It was sad because it showed how abused the dogs were... I won't go into details because there is just too much. The movie wasn't really "graphic" though... I didn't even cry until the end and usually I am a bucket of tears when it comes to this kind of thing! The place was buying stolen dogs... they showed some families taking their pets to be sold. Basically, you aren't supposed to sell an animal that you did not raise yourself to a class B dealer, but they weren't concerning themselves with paperwork. Anyway, he worked there for a few months and filmed it all so that he could later try to get the place shut down/the owner arrested... well, it took a few years, but finally it was shut down and the owner (the town minister ) lost his land and was fined a ton of money, so it was a good ending. I would have liked it if he was arrested MORE, but eh. Good documentary. I recommend it, especially to anyone who loves animals/dogs. So, what was the last movie you watched? What was it about? Did you like it?

Hi wooitsmolly, Last night we all sat around and watched "twelve and holding". I recommend parents and their kids watch this together. It touched on the most horrible and beautiful of topics. A must see!
