Do you enjoy shopping with other people? Or does it just annoy you?
I won't lie. I am selfish when it comes to shopping. I like to take a lot of time weighing my options and I don't like feeling like the person(s) I am with are getting bothered by how long I take. Plus, when they try clothes on and ask me what I think I have to say it looks good, even when it doesn't, because I can't bring myself to hurt their feelings. Then I feel bad that they bought an ugly shirt that makes them look fat... so I try to avoid shopping with other people... unless it's my mom. I can tell her the truth.

Unlike you, I like shopping with my friends and I really appreciate their opinion on my appearance. You know, most time we dress up just for other people. So why not get other people's feedback before you spent money on some expensive cloths. Shopping alone sounds very lonely and depressing to.

I love to shop alone. I find it to be relaxing and it's a nice "me" time.
I don't care about what other people think of how I dress, so I can't see myself asking their opinions. Plus, I don't buy expensive things lol.

It depends on the situation. If there is something I am specifically looking for, then I would rather go out by myself, it's just easier. When going to the outlets, I usually go with friends, but since we look for different items, we usually split up anyway.

It depends on who I am shopping with. I hate shopping with people that like taking all the time in the world they want to, but when it comes to shopping for yourself, they get frustrated and want to leave. I also hate shopping with people that don't like to offer me any opinion when it comes to buying clothes and shoes. I don't like making the decision entirely by myself. I like having someone agree or disagree with my choices.

I don't mind say, going to a mall and browsing with a friend or two, but it is very difficult to actually buy anything that way. My friends and I are all different sizes and cannot really shop in the same stores. If I am buying clothes it is much easier to go alone. Also, I don't have much interest in giving or getting opinions on what to buy! Plus some of my friends are so chatty, that I find it hard to even focus on picking things out. If I am seriously shopping, I need to do it alone.

I agree with you on the most part. I love to sit in the store looking through my options thoroughly. Although, one thing that just kills me is when somebody is rushing me. Talking about banana sandwich! I love to look through things, imagine it on myself, and how others would respond to it (even though i don't care what people think of me at all). Someone rushing me stresses me out because shopping overall for me is fun and relaxing. Especially when I have a lot to spend in an open store with a lot of options.
When it comes to being honest, I'll do it. If my friends want my opinion on how they look, i'll tell the truth. But at the same time, I don't hurt their feelings. I'm just casual about it and I usually add humor to it, but never tension. If it makes them look fat, then I'd say something along the lines of "Well that's a cute shirt, but it's a bit loose on the bottom half..." I won't go straight forward about it making them look fat, but once they change their mind about it then I could make a joke that would go into more detail of how it really looked.

Well I like going to malls and stroll and I definitely want someone with me just to give a side comment. When it comes to shopping I can go either way with or without companion. But when it comes to having companion I can't go with just anyone. As much as possible I want them to be someone I'm close with or someone I'm comfortable. When shopping I like to have other comments but if I don't really like the item even with there good comment I won't buy it.

Haha forever living with the guilt of letting your friend buy a shirt that makes him/her look fat haha.
I don't like shopping with other people because I'm selfish when it comes to shopping. I hate having to stand around while a friend tries on 16 outfits, it bores me. I also hate making friends wait for me while I try something on, it stresses me out and I'd rather just be on my own doing my own thing, coming and going as I wish.
Actually I haven't been shopping in months becasue I haven't had any money. I want to go shopping now.

Well, I don't mind shopping with others.
However, I must prefer if that person has quite the same interests as me.
Otherwise, if we all have different interests, I have to waste time waiting for him and vice versa.
Hardly productive and enjoyable.

No, I don't like shopping with other people. I like going shopping by myself, that way I can shop as long as I want, I can go wherever I want to. I don't have to worry if they're ready to go or not. My husband is always telling me I should ask one of my friends to go with me, he don't like me going by myself, but I don't do it. I'm alright..I can take care of myself. I do like to take my mom with me if she'll go, she's fun to hang with.

I tend to shop alone, with one of my two best friends or my boyfriend. I like shopping with my Mam as she buys me things and does not get bored when I try stuff on and go in every shop. I like going with only one of my friends as we end up just going to a coffee shop if there is more than just two of us. I like going with my boyfriend, because he gives me an honest opinion of what he thinks of the things that I am going to wear.

I only shop with my boyfriend.
I hate shopping with other girls 'cause they drive me nuts. They go into EVERY store where I stick to like 2, and I go back and forth between them just to compare things I like and want and can't have both of.
I only go with my boyfriend 'ccause he barely buys anything, he really only goes to keep me company so I don't complain about having to go alone.
But I mean I like having him with me, I buy things hoping he'll like me in them, so why not buy them while he's there?

wooitsmolly I love to shop by myself so I can dilly'
dally as long as I want. when my hubby was alive he
hated going dress shopping with me so we decided on
a meeting place for lunch and he would go where he 'wanted
to and I would do likewise. we usually leftour kids with
my mom. I would shop with my mom as she and I had similar
shopping styles and we were honest with each other about
how clothes looked on each other..

Love to shop. Hate to shop with friends. I am a total "loner" shopper except for when I go with my daughter. She lives 3 hours away so when we get together we have our "agenda" it is so fun (she loves shopping with me cuz she knows I usually buy her something!) Ha! When I first got married I would tell my husband that I was going shopping and he would be all "what are you shopping for?" and I would say "I don't know, I'm just shopping" and he would say "where are you going" and I would say "I don't know" and he would say "You're going shopping and you don't know what you want or where you're going?" and I would say "Yeah...I'm going SHOPPING!" Ha, Ha. He doesn't ask me anymore!
