What's up with the PTC

As you all know I finally joined some PTC sites and was doing really good getting referrals. Today I went to one of them and it had changed to a premium members only and I and my referrals have been deleted along with our earnings. They said I had to pay to join again and so would my referrals. This is why I don't trust these sites.
Some of the members at this site had purchased referrals and they deleted them too.
Does this happen often at PTC sites? The name is of the site is 4 bux.info

yeah, i dropped 4Bux a while back cuz i read a bad review about them some where. i think them forcing people to upgrade is a last ditch effort by them to grab all the money they can before they disappear.
