i've been having a lot of complications lately. My joints hurt all over, i've been depressed, I haven't slept right for months. also i have terrible migranes. I got a MRI and everything came back normal. My aunt told me that I need to talk to the doctor about fibromyalgia. I would like to know from those that have it your experiences.

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for almost 5 years now. I had it for a while before that. The pain is really bad at times. It's hard to learn to live with fibromyalgia.
You should talk with your doctor and he will rule out other conditions by taking blood test. Some autoimmune disease can have the same symptoms as fibromyalgia and they should be considered before making a diagnosis.
I have 60 symptoms associated with fibromyalgia alone. I also have other diseases and conditions. Some days are good and some are bad. You have to learn to pace yourself and do things in a totally different manner.
I wish you all the best.

I might be able to help you! Wow, it sounds like you ahve it really bad. I have 9 friends who have Fibro, and 7 of them have had really good sucess with a natural supplement and topical treatment plan. I would love to tell you more about it. I don't want to put on much here, cause people get all weird about thinking I am selling... i can just tell you how to get it, and it will totally be worth your time.
PS, the other 2 said it helped more than some medications, but decided to take the "cutting edge" stuff and see how it works. They have not had much success with that, but still believe the DR's will figure it out.

you need to find a doctor that knows about fibro. some doctors (the ones with their head in the sand) are not as informed about fibro. i used to have a doctor that was really great (sadly, he passed away) and now the doctor i have doesnt know (or doesnt want to) know anything about it (fortunatly, i have other health issues as well - or maybe that is unfortunately!!)

hi,
i am feeling sorry for u coz i can understand ur condition though i havent experienced it. but from the very simple example of severe toothache we come to know the severity of any pain. and wen u r talking about fibromyalgia, then it will be horrible and terrible for u. its basically a condition wer ur muscles become weak, painful and become tender on light touch. tha pain is widespread which leads to sleepless nights. the treatment available is pain killers, but i have recently read in one of the health magazines that swimming in hot water helps alot for those suffering from fibromyalgia. u can also go for accupuncture or accupressure which will definitely help to reduce the pain since u cant depend upon pain killers all the time.

I have fibromyalgia and I also suffer from terrible joint and muscle pain all the time. It also gets worse when the weather is cold or rainy. I do not experience migraines (thank God!) I do have trouble sleeping and I am often up for most of the night despite feeling terribly exhausted all the time. You should definitely talk to your doctor about it, even though there is not really much treatment available, he or she may be able to give you something to help with your pain. Good luck.

If you have depression, anxiety/panic, obsession/compulsion, and procrastination, and they came with the FMS, that's pretty common.
We named it the Serotonin Cluster of Symptoms. Some with FMS have this, some do not.
Signals are not getting from your brain to body correctly.
We take a small amount of an SSRI med, at night, for that. Not an SSNRI, though, since we don't need the norenephrine part of it. If you do for some reason, it's available separately, anyway.
