Do you cook some recipe that come from a recipe book? Why or why not? Why do you want to learn how to cook that came from a recipe book? In my case since I want to learn how to cook particularly with pure vegetables, I am just getting the idea from the recipe book that my brother bought it from the mall by the time it was sale. I mean he just grabbed it. Since most of us are in the process of dieting of course we want to cook something unique that contains vegetables. But there are times that we are cooking diferent kinds of pasta that is coming from a recipe book also and we've already tried the seafood pasta with shrimps. However there are times that the recipe came from the forum and I've already tried cooking Charlie Chan pasta (taste like a Thai pasta). I've also tried cooking the Vodka pasta but this recipe came from internet also or just a blog. What about you? what do you usually cook that comes from the recipe book? Are you repeating it? Do you cook that for your everyday meal or occassionally only?

heheheh of course I know it is not a review so that you can do the practical thing. What I mean is if you are using the book WHILE COOKING to follow the ingredients or even to know the exact measurement. If you are using that as a GUIDE for your cooking.

I go online to check for new and interesting recipes. I love to experiment and enjoy cooking all kinds of foods.
Cooking indian and thai food are my favorite past time. I see online videos and recipes from sites like http://www.squidoo.com/indian-foods-recipes-cookbooks and http://www.squidoo.com/thaifoodcookingvideos that make i really easy and fun to cook.

Most of the time yes, since I'm not an expert cooker I still need help with measurements and cooking time so Recipe Book is my bible. Although I use the net more often than thick recipe books.

I dont use cooking books any more. I usually look for cooking videos on the internet. Here are some of the resources I go to: http://www.foodnetwork.com, http://www.epicurious.com, http://www.ifood.tv
