Shane Warne as India's Future Coach?

Shane Warne showed tremendous charecter in the rescently concluded IPL tournament. No doubt he is a great player and showed that he can lead from the front. Does he have any chance of coaching the Indian National Team in future?

Yes exactly. The way he performed and made the youngsters perform was amazing.

shane warne has a class of his own
if you actually closely notice the rajasthan royals, there werent many ( actually to be precice nil ) indian hot shots
all the indian players in team lacked international experience it was a very young but a very very immature side
but finally it was they who lifted the costliest trophy ever made the dlf ipl cup
he just moulded the team to his thoughts and ideas
he carved the young inexperienced team to a victorius one
during this tournament, thoughts arose in the minds of the indian national team selectors to have shane warne as an option for coaching the national side
it was the probably one of the best thoughts that an indian selector could think of
the question that will they chose another australian after chappell shpould never ever arise in their minds
he has blended so well with the indian crowd and just drawn the attention of the whole indian crowd towards himself
a man of extreme caliber, one shiould never hesitate to choose him to be the next coach of the indian national side

Will the politics of Indian cricket choose him as a coach. Do BCCI again want to try an Australian or do they think about it.

You are damn right, Shane Warne has showed his class. He made the Rajasthan Royals team champions. The current Indian coach is gary kirsten and I believe Shane Warne will be far better than the Gary Kirsten.

I think Indian Cricket Board should think early to make Shane Warne as a coach, other wise Australians would themselves pull him out.

How could you say that. The way he encouraged the youngsters in the IPL was marvellous. I dont think he should prove any more.

BCCI can think on this topic,I also hope he is competent enough to be our coach.I think it is better to have some retired indian players as our coach they r more aware of the indian cricket history, attitude and all that.

Retired Indian players? who would you suggest. It has been tried tested and failed. I think Australian coach is a better one for Indians as Indians lack tough mental strength which can be got from a Aussie coach. What would you say?

I totally agree with you Shane warne has all sort of capabilities to become an Indian coach. the way he led the rajsthan royals it's simply tremendous. I think India cricket board should seriously think of him as a coach of India......

Thats what i was thinking. The way he motivated the youngsters and brought the team all the laurels it deserved was amazing. He has discoverd himself. What do you say?

Yes, you are absoluitely right in saying Shane Warne might make a good coach to indian cricket teama nd alreday he has proved this lifting the IPLT-20 by beaing a coach and also captain of the most under rated team in this IPl trophy isnt it? and i think even indian cricket board also might be thinking on the same lines and may consult him in coming years for sure

It wud be gr8 if shane warne leads team india.....he has passed in his test with merit rank,we hav wittnessed his leadership in ipl......he brought a series win and championship cup to a team who seemed 2 be under dogs in d ipl tournament.....hats off 2 ya shanyy !! hope someday u'll lead team india ........lolz
