That is very kind of you. I would hate to find out later or even think of the possibility that someone had to go hungry over losing their wallet when it could have been returned :)

Well as mentioned, you could bring to police department or closets big grocery store. also out here in America alot of our grocery stores have these discount keytags that we keep on our key chains and also wallet cards. if there is one of these in the wallet, the grocery store could scan it and put it in the mail.

Yes ofcourse. Without giving a second thought, I would return the money to the person whom it belongs to. Afterall its somebody else money which could have been earned after a lot of efforts for their necessities.

That is thoughtful and kind of you. I feel the same way. I could not be pleased with myself knowing that I was going to spend someone else's hard earned cash.

Yes, I would return it. I know how it is to be the person who lost the wallet with nearly an entire paycheck in cash in it. I got the wallet back, but no cash in it. :(

:( That is sad. I bet someone found it, took the cash and left it there and the person who found it second was the one to return it to you.

Thanks for your answer. Not everyone is stupid who loses things. Everyone has a day every now and than when they are just forgetful or drop something without paying attention.

Is the golden rule what comes around goes around or do unto others as you would like them to do unto you. I actually remember learning about the second one many years ago in my Kindergarten when I was like 5 years old and it has stuck with me.

I have my wallet stolen from my purse while at work. It had two credit cards, about $200 in cash, my checkbook, Social Security card, and Driver's license in it. They were nice enough to mail me my Social Security card and Driver's license but nothing else. I know how it feels to loose all that so I would have to say I would return it.

Oh well I guess it would be sort of hard to turn in 300.00 cash.. What I would do in that case, but this is just me, is wait and see if someone comes around looking for something and you can ask they what they lost..

Yes of course, that is the most decent thing to do. You have to do unto others as you would want others to do unto you.. so if you had lost your wallet would'nt you like it if you got it back?? i know i wld

Why would you think that god had given you money that someone else worked for or got as a gift to reward you for your dishonestly? :) I'm not very religious, but I do feel as if someone is watching and that someone would not reward us for doing that. He could be testing you to see what you would do... I hope he does not read your post hahaha. :)
