Bluebirds

I am fortunate to have so many birds in my neighborhood. But, the Eastern Bluebirds that I dearly love, are determined to build a nest every day in my newspaper box under my mailbox. Since I receive the local paper every morning, their nest is either destroyed or pulled out with the newspaper. And what a mess with the sticks and dirt, especially if it gets wet. I hate the thought of their hard work getting destroyed, and there are paper boxes across the steet that they could build in, where the homeowner doesn't get the paper. What can I do to discourage them from building in my newspaper box? I love my birds.
