Well people actually tend to keep to tradition. So I don't know if they would like to see him in a drama. But there is an old movie with him that is somewhat a drama. It isn't a comedy. I think he plays a salesman and he mets a girl on a hot line. That has a pimp. I don't quite remember what happens, I've seen it a lot of years ago. But its like they try to cheat him with money. There is some fighting involved in it, and the atmosphere in the movie is darkened.
For me it wasn't that kind of a good movie, but then again I didn't like the storyline at all.

No problem, yet I don't know if that is a drama or not. I know it wasn't a comedy. Anyway it is different from what Adam Sandler does usually.

i think you're talking about Punch-Drunk Love. That was where i first saw Sandler deviate from his normal joke-telling. It was a different, yet good movie. It indeed proved that Adam Sandler can do anything, yet give the same effect to his fans. I personally admired him for trying to go out of his own comfort zone, yet still made his audience feel comfortable watching him all the same..

Adam Sandler is a really good comedian and he is very talented when it comes to his roles in movies, and I think if Adam Sandler put his mind to doing a drama,he could do it,and make it a big hit,and I am sure that alot of people would watch it,just because Adam Sandler would be in it.

i know he gives his all in every movie he do but making a drama i think he will have a hard time. because people are use to seeing him in a comedy rather than in a drama. but a great actor can do whatever his director wants him to do so i will support adam sandler in comedy or drama or whatever film he does.

I agree if he does do a drama it would seem strange, since he is known for comedies, but all true Adam Sandler fans will support him no matter what genre of movie he chooses to do,have a good day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

you are so right, he is still an actor and all actors need to portray his roles well, even in comedy or in drama he will excel.

I would love to. I like Adam Sandler as well especially if he acts dumb and even dumber sometimes in his movies. He always gives me laughs whenever I watch him in his comedy films. I still am laughing when I think of him doing real drama. That would be a very good milestone for him.

you are so right about it, if ever he adam sandler will do a drama film you really don't knnow what to do to cry or to laugh. but i think he can do a very hard drama because he is a very good actor not just a comedienne.

I don't like the idea to see Adam Sandler do a hard drama. He's a funny guy and I don't think it suit him best if he will take the role. Though, it might be a challenge for him. We will just see.

i think adam sandler can pull out a very good showing in a drama film but the real question is will producers take a risk in making one drama film for him?

i think he can be a good drama actor if given a very good script that best suites him. every actor needs to extend his acting capabilities to be able to have a long career in the film industry and he must try new things to improve himself. i will watch his film if ever he will do such a drama movie.

I just saw Reign Over Me, which is a real drama, and it made me cry. Adam Sandler's interpreting a doctor whose life has been destroyed by the lost of his whole family in 911 seemed to me as genial. This actor, who's a natural born comedian, went all the way to a movie so difficult and so deep to make. This movies explores all the range of human feelings, from friendship to grief, to the difficulty of having to cope with the pain of loosing someone dear, not only someone dear, but all Your family, Your children as well. Somehow it reminded me of Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man,
