Why are people so mean i mean y can't they stand others happy ? Its because they are self centered or jealous or what? And why can't a person be happy seeing other person happy.

hmm this is interesting. This situation goes in my family. Like, someone always want to be the top and would do anything to make the other feel inferior. Like my uncle who lives with us. He is an engineer and thinks he is the king of the world..it's just so lame. He just talks about how other jobs are cheap and so forth. While my other aunt has a daughter who graduated in pharmacy and she also thinks she is the queen of the world. Then when we do get something positive, we never show off like they do or be snobish..I think it gets to them and they don't want us to surpass them or something...it's just ridiculous. Yes..jealousy and greed

Hey you know what sometimes i feel complexes which people have that they feel inferior when someone excels and when someone is in problem they try to show they are superior.I feel its because they are self centered. You they hardly have any concern, feelings, or heart to feel for others they just try to exibit what they have achieved.
They kind of have a superiority complex nobady could help only time can heal them.
Dont you worry you do only your part give your best definitely you will achieve your goals, its not only them who boost.
Never bother about others where there is a will there is a way! lol..........

well there isn't just one answer, it depends on the person and the circumstance, it can be from experience although at the rate people learn from mistakes i doubt it, it can be jealousy witch would make them irritated or even just different opinions on things like words or stile stuff like that but mostly related to being self centered witch gives a sense of feeling that it's not fair that it's not them and simmilar
