HI captainodie,i havn't been to tibet.but i'm afraid tibet isn't a suitable place for study.one's university lif is very preious and when you can learn and experience as much as possible not only knowledge but also other different things.
you'd better choose a city with stable political environment, then you can concentrate yourself on your study never to worry about others.apparently, tibet is not such a proper place.

Thank you,but I don't think Tibet is instability. The Tibet accident only represented the democracy for the few.It is well know to all that Tubet and Taiwan belong to China date back to ancient.

hmmm... although I have not been to Tibet, but for study i suppose u will be going to a city area like Lhasa, which isn't situated in that high altitude that you will have to worry about it. Usually, after 3500 meters of altitude you need to worry about the altitude sickness.
Anyway, if properly acclamatized then u can easily adapt to it. Goodluck!
