Imagine someone comes to visit you that has never been to your city. Where would you take that person. What places, things and people would be a must see things where you live.
I would take them to Crown casino, Melbourne zoo, to few of our many markets, Philip Island, Rialto towers, museums.

I don't live in a city, just a rural area but there are still interesting things to see...especially for visitors from a more urban area. We could go to the various museums... http://www.bradfordcountytourism.com/history.html#museums and other "best kept secrets of the county" http://www.bradfordcountytourism.com/
We could also drive by a few small Amish farms where you may be able to buy fresh produce and handmade quilts. There is a casino just across the border in NY http://www.tiogadowns.com/
And a county and state park a short drive away... http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/mtpisgah.aspx
There really is a lot to do and see here!

I love rural areas they have such a happy feeling and calm life, and lots of history. I have never meet anyone living close to the way the Amish people live so that would be nice to see. We are over doing it with technology and the way they live can brings us down to a proper place they hardly ever use technology and they manage

Well in that case we would definitely have to spend at least an afternoon with my friends! They are not Amish but they live a very simple lifestyle. They live in a former Amish house, heat and cook on a woodstove, they have very little electricity run in the house...they do have indoor plumbing but no hot water. They can show you their organic garden...you can even pick your lunch if it's in season. Wash it down with some fresh farm milk. We can hitch up their wagon and go for a ride up into the meadow for a picnic...or just wade in the creek. Before we leave you could grind up your own oats for oatmeal, learn to use a pedal sewing machine or just sit out on the porch watching the stars!

quit befor I relly decide to come lol. No really expecially to kids this things can mean a lot. I loved going to my grandparents as they lived in a vilage that did not have street lights often had no runinig water, we used a wooden stove to cook and boil water, we drank fresh milk and ate organic food. the air was nice and clean.
we went to a farm with my son with the class and the kids were shocked to learn where milk came from they were milking the cow in a cup and gave kids the milk to drink. most kids did not like the taste I guess they are not used to something that is not half chemicals and the rest water and some milk.

I would take them to the National Inventors Hall Of Fame. The place is pretty neat. There's plenty to see and do (a lot of hands on activities). There is this elevator that I find so interesting (I still can't figure it out, it blows my mind everytime). It's hard to be bored in a place like that (or cool for that matter, that place could turn the hardest of criminals into school children again).

The Mall Of America of course. I find the place boring but I have been their many times. People still love the largeness of the place and with rollercoasters and other rides, underground aquariums and plenty of shops it attracts many people and has something for everyone. Even has a theater also.

By the way I ment coming not caning I always eat letters when I am tired. By the way I have heard of that Mall at this moment I am so sick of shoping that I dont even go grocery shoping any more if I go I am ina nad out in 5 min (forgeting to buy half the things at the end) its due to my holiday and all the shoping I did for it. But since it has other things as well it must be a great place to visis and you could kill few hours or days there. I have seen only photos of it and it looks huge.
