how important is a dictionary for you?

I like dictionaries specially when i type something an idnot know the English language for certain word, usually i pick up a dictionary and found it. I also love the synonym dictionary cause it add to our vocabulary and knowledge. Sadly all my dictionaries had been lost during the flood. Now I soetimes I used online dictionary though not very complete.

I never refer a dictionary unless i am totally stumped about the context of a word. Otherwise i keep on reading and i realise its meaning on my own. This has been my habit from when i started reading books

When I read the book which written by Chinese, I don't have to pick up a dictionary for a long time. Because Chinese is my native language. But when I read an English book, I'd like to read with a dictionary. That is helpful to my English learning.
