Is it true?

Of course that isn't true! I've never heard it before, but it's obviously a silly old wives' tale. There is no reason you should go blind because you took a bath after not sleeping enough.
The only way that would happen would be if you didn't get enough sleep, and you were very tired and drowsy. But you decide to take a bath and upon getting in or out of the tub, you lose your balance from being so tired; then you fall into the sink counter and puncture your eyeballs
So don't believe those silly myths. It's no more probable than getting a cold or flu because you didn't dress warm enough. The only way to get sick is from a virus or bacteria. How you dress doesn't make a difference.

Only times when I couldn't see after a shower or bath was after long night of drinking... I remember walking into a shower & I was too hung over to even just stand there so I've decided to take a bath... When I got out, I had to turn off the bathroom lights because it was hurting me, but I doubt taking a bath had anything to do with it... It was a hang over...

where on earth did that belief come from as I know
that is not true. i have had insomnia and bathed the
next morning and my sight is just the same as always.
I wear glasses and still I can see, I am not blind
so think this is some old wives tale for sure.
