what you do SMS or call for your local usage ??

For me it's better to call coz you can say everything in several minutes than to write those SMS. But most of my friends prefer to write messages so I do the same. I remember the case when we communicated with SMS for a whole hour. But if my friend just called me our talk would take 5 minutes.

Most of the time i do SMS, coz am always on the go. But whenever it really urgent, I need the answer as soon as possible, or I need to really connect to the emotional scale of the person, I call them. Everything has its pros and cons. SMS may restrict you from expressing more of your emotions. You may never really know whether the person is already offended or mad or whatever. On the other hand, it is convenient coz you can send a message while you're in the middle of another task. Unlike if you are engaged in a call, you lose precious moments and you can't do it especially if you're in the middle of something important.

i prefer to call rather that to make an sms because sometimes the person i want to send an sms sometimes doesnt recieve some of my sms so thats why i rateher call than make an sms..

I actually perfer calls over sms... That's why I got a "unlimited calling" plan... I don't have pre set amount of minutes, I can call whoever I want for as long as I want... It's better that way for me... Also, I got that plan because I use it for my work as well... I never know who's gonna call me, or who I have to call.. Nice thing about that plan is that "unlimited messaging" is included as well... A buddy of mine is like you... Not that it's good or bad, it's just a personal preference... He emails me or messages me if he wants to tell me something, then I call him back on his house phone to respond to messages he sends me... I know it's funny situation but well, he just perfers messaging & I rather "Talk" to person... That's all...

I personally prefer to message people too. It's quick and easy and only costs me 10p per message. Another reason I prefer to sms people is that if I call them we'll end up talking and talking and using up all my phone credit. If I need a reply urgently then i'll phone them, and I always phone my mom because she doesn't know how to text. I've shown her dozens of times but she just doesn't get it. Ultimately I think that in most situations texting is just more efficient.
