Time in PTC Programs

How much time do you spend in day in PTC programs? I find that it is best to limit my time and concentrate more on referrals. I find that when everyone just does a little bit of time, it yields great rewards. Conversely, I could spend all day clicking and get to the end of the day and find my hourly rate was an abomination! Any comments?
