What hours and days do you work? Is it the same each week?
I roughly work Monday to Friday 8.15 - 5.00 but I build up flexible times so I can sometimes leave early or even take a day off (extra on top of my annual leave).
Do you wish you had more hours or less?

My shifts rotate, late shift being till 10 pm for very stupid reasons and finish at 4 or 5 on earlies. Although this week I finish at 6:15 and I dunno if that's supposed to be late or early. They give us a day off once every other week by making us work on Saturdays. No flexi time but a get a fair whack of holdiays which I don't use conventionally- ie no 2 weeks in La Bamba.

My hours used to be on a 6 week rotation but luckily I don't have to cover anything now thats why I can leave when I please. Do you get a good wage for it? don't worry i'm not actually asking the amount you get paid.

Good compared to some but not really enough to keep the wolves from the door, so I have a number of different doors and several wolf biscuits.
Sall about the bonuses and motivation if you want to get a living large wage. So I live fair to moderately with flashes of stellar.

No my hours aren't the same every week, they're actually all over the place! It can be annoying but it shakes things up at the same time so my job doesn't get too monotonous.
I work at an Animal Emergency centre so we're open when normal vets are shut. So most of my hours consist of 6pm-8am shifts. On the weekend we're open 24 hours so I always have to work Saturdays which sucks! But it means my days are free during the week so I get to chill out at home and watch cr@ppy day time TV like Dr Phil and Oprah. I like my hours!

Sounds like a good job though! I bet you get job satisfaction from it. Mine used to be on a 6 week rota including working Saturdays but now i'm doing the normal Monday to Friday which is alright. I used to have a day off in the week so I do miss daytime telly!

We in this part of the world and in government service, work for six days a week from Monday to Saturday. Each Saturday, that is second in a month too is a holiday apart from all Sundays. Each day we work from 10.30 Am to 5.00 PM.In addition to working ours we do stay back in the offices for an or two more in the evening because bosses start certain works in that slots.

Any one who does not work for extra hours freely will be seen with be contempt and would be in the boss's firing list.

That seems really strict. I work for the government myself and it's much more lenient over here. We have flexi time, and in my job we don't work Saturdays (I used to) although you can go in on a Saturday if you want to catch up with something. Do you get paid for the extra house you work?

Well i am a mum of four, so have to look after children, husband and house first. Second comes work. I am lucky enough to work from home so I can choose my hours and days but i do have to do a certain amount of hours per week, i can also do more if i choose to.
With a busy house I sometimes do struggle to do the correct hours. But I do it somehow.
Its good working from home because if i get up and have so many jobs to do or a child home from school sick then I just don't work that day. Sometimes i have been very lazy and then at the end of the week i have had a big rush to get my hours in. Now I try to do all my hours at the beginning of the week trying to leave the rest of the week free.

It's good that you have a job you can do from home, and amazing that you fit it all in. I think i'd love working from home myself.

I am actually on placement in an organization and it starts from 8.30 to 4.30 :) I think the number of hours are good.

That's not bad at all, I love it on Fridays when I finish at either 4 or half 4.

i work monday to friday 8:00-5:00pm, sometimes i go beyond my time so that no unfinished things to be done the following day.
it is good for us at least we worked only monday to friday because there are some employees who are working the whole week and they dont have even day off they only have 1 hr break.
saturday and sunday are good day off. these two days for me can do wonderful things which are not related to my work.
for me these hours and days of work are just enough because it will only depend on how i manage my time.
time is gold
