To buy a 2nd Hand guitar or not?

Well,its been about 4 months since I had started learning to play guitar and I can atleast say that I am able to play song tabs/chords from reading them on the net or using programs like Guitar Pro.
I have an accoustic guitar and am planning to buy a new guitar.
So my question is that should i buy a new guitar or rather buy an old guitar?
My spending budget is about 7-8000 INR or 200$.So any suggestions on what to buy,plus i also need an amp with it too.

Personally i wouldn't buy a used guitar. its better if you break it in yourself. im not sure why that is but its been my experience that when you buy a used guitar its set up for the last person that owned it. if you buy a new guitar you can have it professionally set up to the way you want it to feel. then its just right for you. if you buy used you may not have that option because anything that you would have wanted to do to it may not be possible because the last owner had it set up to his standards and a lot of times you cant modify it unless you take it into a professional and spend a lot of money to have things on them replaced to make it a standardized and then adjust from there. better to buy a guitar new because many music stores will make the adjustments for free if you bought from them and then they will ask you if it feels comfortable in your hands. definitely better if you buy new

Thnx palmer,really helpful advice.So what you mean is that i should just buy a new guitar and set it up to my needs.That sounds pretty good as i think i would have to spend more time/money on the used guitar in fixing it.So thumbs up from my side.
