Sara died?!

Gosh... I really love this serie, but in the 3rd seasone, i could not believe what i was seeing. Actually, the 4th seasone is about to start (i guess it started long time ago in the U.S). Well it is starting to gain my interest again, but do you really think Sara diserve to Die? She had to leave the serie to start a new Family in Canada (as far as i know). But.. i mean... god... did she had to die? couldnt the producers have tought another end for her? maybe she disapeared, went to live free in Europa, ect. but in my opinion that was one of the main plots of the tv show. To know if Sara will be able to live with Scofield at the end. Oh well, what do you guys think about the way that character's destiny ended?
