Prices Up, Wages Same!

It seems in todays economy that the prices of goods and services continue to rise. You can look at the oil prices. Oil rises so the price of gas goes up. With the price of gas going up every business needs to and does raise their prices to compensate. With this rise in prices everything from groceries to window washing goes up in price, yet the minimum wage continues to stay the same. People say that with a rise in minimum wage there would be a rise in prices of everything else, but living in a smaller community than big cities I have realized that working for minimum wage does not pay the bills that everyday american citizens pay. Also with all the outsourcing that the American business do they take away jobs from our own citizens and then there can be more people on government assistance. With more government assistance there comes more taxes taken out of our already low pay checks. What do you think is going on? What would be a good solution for today's economy?

If this continues I feel we are going to go into a depression and I feel bad for the poor people because it must be really hard for them to go shopping and be able to support there family not to mention be able to heat up there house since oil is really expensive. The government should increase minimum wages since everything is going up would be nice if it was $10

Good call. But with higher minimum wage wouldn't that force the prices of goods to go up as well? Yes I feel that we are sinking into the depths of a depression that the US may not be ever to get out of. The dollar is not as strong as it once was, the prices still go up, it is just getting bad I feel.

Yes,
price of everything up,
but salary remain same, some even decrease.
Now we have price of everything same as US,
but our salary is as low as labour in India.
How can we continues live like this?

I have to leave that open what would be a good solution; cause they will not even use the good solutions. Even if it would balance things back out to normal. Really if you look at it they don't want a solution. They had to see this coming and it will only get worse.

There really isn't a good solution as far as making life affordable goes. I think that we just have to keep minimum wage at a good rate to help out those that are less fortunate. Right now, I don't think that it's high enough.
