I have always loved Strawberry Quik milk mix! It makes it a lovely shade of pink and a wonderful sweet strawberry flavor. My son likes the Banana Quik and my husband prefers the Chocolate. Cheese is also a good source of Calcium as well as yogurt.

If they don't like regular milk; you might have to try flavored milk. Strawberry or chocolate milk; Most kids like chocolate milk but that would be a start.

We do not need to drink milk! Even as children, we can get enough calcium and potassium from other sources. Since you asked, I will tel you some of the tricks that I learned from WIC, which is a program that gives milk and cheese and other food items to women, infants and young children! You can add powdered milk to your recipes, like when you make bread, use milk instead of water! You can make mashed potatoes with milk, or turn your milk into cheese or yogurt! It is not that difficult and it is much tastier than if you buy it from the store. Your children can drink soy milk or rice milk or almond milk! Two cups of milk a day is good enough for most young children. There are a lot of potato dishes that can be baked using milk instead of water! Cinnamon rolls can be made with milk in the dough! Pumpkin pie uses condensed milk, which is very good value and you can not taste any milk when you eat it! If you buy organic, natural milk it will taste a lot better and they may drink it. Some children prefer the taste of whole milk, while others want only two percent milk. It is now considered best to offer one percent milk or even fat free milk!

Maybe you could get these groovy straws, to make drinking milk more exciting. Or you could give them a chocolate or strawberry milk. If you are worried about them not getting enough calcium you could also give them extra yoghurt or cheese.
