Is This Pretty Impressive, Or Pretty Ridiculous?

Congressman James Clyburn's(Democrat) has numerous monuments bearing his name across the 6th district of South Carolina. Clyburn's name is adorned on 14 seperate buildings, monuments, and roadways ranging from the James E. Clyburn Golf Center to the James E. Clyburn Intermodal Transportation Center, some of which were funded by federal tax dollars. Hardly a prudent use of taxpayer dollars to say the least. However, Mr. Clyburn has some work to do if he wants to gather as many namesakes as Senator Robert Byrd (Democrat), who has an amazing 34 monuments, roads, bridges, and buildings across West Virginia named after himself. Do these people think they are "Gods" or "King"? Do these people actually think that our money is well spent for their glory?

All they care about is leaving a legacy so they will be remembered after they have gone. It doesn't matter to them how much money was wasted or how many lies told or how many promises they broke, and it sure doesn't matter how much money they stole from the hard working taxpayers to pay for their follies. All they care about is fame and fortune, and sticking it to the taxpayers. They are nothing more than egotistical elitists who need to be slapped in prison in the worst way.

Egotistical elitists, but Destiny I thought the Democrat party was for the little guy. Democrats might still be as long as the little guys are worshiping their idols.

They are.... they consider themselves to be the little guy. Everyone else are considered sheep to be taken care of and sheared on a regular basis, usually around April 15th.

It is stupid, completelly useless and waste of money. Why they do it? because they can, we had a similar problem here in portugal, it ended up really quick when the guy lost by 80% in the next elections.
