What would you improve about your life?

I love my life. My life is near perfect. I have a loving man, two beautiful kids, I have committed myself to God, I attend one of the best churches I could have ever hoped for, I have more friends than ever before and things are really great.
The only thing I would change is my lack of education. I dropped out of high school, but went back for my GED. I got it and moved onto college. Then life happened and I had to drop out. That is the only empty hole I have left. I truely wish I had the extra funds to fill it, but at these gas prices and one income, its just not possible. And daycare is monsterous.

I think you just seek some reasons for avoiding the further education.
If you really want to go ahead on education, no barrier can stop your steps.

No, it is called not getting into debt because I have no money to PAY for my education. Not everyone wants to have thousands of dollars of debt heaped on them. That is not really the way to go about it. If I even lived 10 miles from a college, I would consider it further, but the nearest one is 30 miles one way.

What sort of education do you want?
Are there some tutoring models or apprenticeship or maybe grants to allow you to study?
If you study the life of Albert Mensah you will find out that a young penniless man from Ghana with persistence got to come to America and study and is now living the American dream.

For what I want to do, there are no tutoring or apprenticeships. I also have a lot of ground to make up. And then there is the decision. Do I want to be a doctor or scientist? I know it is between the two. Do I want hands on treatment of cancer or do I want to be the person that helps find a cure?
So long as I don't do an I Am Legend..... I can handle it.

I would say that I almost all the things and the best for my life except one,MONEY,I have a good job but as you said,due to gas price hike,our company definitely, is also affected so they need to have their own plan to at least have minimize their labor cost,hence we are affected.So, the only thing I need to improve right now for me is the salary,I need to have higher salary to support my growing families.
