Losing Your Children

It is so hard to lose a relative much less your own children. Last week a 70 year old man lose his two teenage daughters to the hands of gunmen in my country. It was his birthday and he was looking towards celebrating in style. When gunmen kicked open his daughters bedroom door and murder them. It is so painful to be reading these stories day in out here. But to lose your two daughters at the same time is so terrible. I feel it for him. It is sad to know that you grow up your children and when they are now trying to make something out of life these things happen. Parenting is such a hard but fulfilling role.

It is hard to imagine. I don't know the whole story, but how the gunman end up in their house? How was it possible to happen?

That is awful. We hear it all the time these day. I read a story sometime back where this woman had like seven children and lost four or more just to street violence over a period of years. They showed the woman on tv, she look so old and tired and grief stricken, it was heartbreaking. I have three children, I can't imagine life without them. And people out there suffer these losses everyday. I can only try to imgaine what they're feeling. Actually it would be insulting to even try. That's a set of emotions I have never felt, and I hope I never do.

Ouch and ouch again, the poor man. Lsoing your kids at any age is hard. What a horrible thing, I hope they find the gunmen and also murder him the say way he killed those girls. The girls should not deserved to be killed. i a gree with you, parenting is a role you play all your life even at age 70. You never stop worrying about your kids no matter how old they are.

I can't imagine what it would be like to lose a child. I have no children of my own yet, but hopefull will in the next few years. Good friends of ours lost their child last fall. She was due in April and gave birth on Thanksgiving. She was only a few months along, yet the baby lived for 10 hours. He was beautiful. And such a blessing to them. But I can't imagine the pain they went through. They are strong wonderful people and I admire them. The doctors have said that she should be fine to have more children. Which is wonderful news. We are hoping for the best for them, and always praying for them.

Yes it must be very traumatic for a parent to live through something like this, I don't think any parent expects to have to bury their childen, its just not the way it is supposed to be.
