Does Anyone Else EAT Coffee Beans?

I love eating coffee beans, especially when I'm pi$$ed off, and need something to chew on. Last night one of my husband's ex-wives annoyed me, and I just wanted to bit something, so I ate a cup of fresh coffee beans. YUMMY!!! That cheered me up just fine.
When I'm in a good mood I get out my fondu pot, melt some chocolate, drop some coffee beans into it and stir it up, and eat it with a spoon.
Other times I'll mix up the beans and chocolate in my pot, and lay it out on a cookie sheet on wax paper, and put it in the freezer for a while, making my special Coffee Bean Bark. YUMMY!!! I especially like the stuff with white chocolate, or with melted Frenh Mint choolate bars (chocolate flaoured with Mint IN the chocolate) that we get at Laura Secord stores, here in Canada.
YUMMY!!!!!!!!!

I definitely want to try some chocolate-mint fondue. There's a lot that can be dipped in that!

Chocolate covered coffee beans is my special treat. Coffee bean bark does sound good. I am not much for the mint though. You should write a book or an article for the onsite freelance writing sites. Here is one I use:

Or I have others as well if interested.

I don't really eat them anymore, but I used to sometimes eat coffee beans when I was little. I actually don't really like the taste of coffee very much, so I kind of stay away from it. I've had chocolate flavored espresso beans before though, and I liked them a little better since they had the chocolate on them. My husband really loves them!

This is interesting. You seem spoilt for choice with the "goodies'. LOL.
It is first time I realised that coffee beans can be eaten. I have eaten other beans - black beans, red beans, green beans... all roasted. Coffee beans might make a good snack too. Thanks :)

I love coffee, and the fact that you make your own chocolate covered beans is a commendable and wonderful skill! :)
Anybody that you are annoyed with should be grateful that you use beans instead of bullets, to cool off! :)
Have a coffee laugh on me, courtesy of my Apsense blog!:)

You are so not alone. When I was in grade school, I used to sneak my mother's coffee beans and eat them on the way to school. It was something to chew on and it tasted good. Later, I found that someone who is a pure genius (and I see that you too are one) combined two of G-d's greatest treasures to mankind: coffee and chocolate. OMG...I was in heaven when I had my first chocolate covered coffee bean. I don't eat too much of it but...I wonder if anyone had ever added some mint in the chocolate. Perhaps if you could you should try that and let me know how it tasted.

wow, I must say. I haven't met a person who would love to chew coffee beans. I guess you are the first person I met so far. I haven't even thought about chewing coffee beans, although I sometimes eat those coffee beans covered with chocolate when they are served for free together with my coffee.

It's no different than eating chocolate-covered coffee beans. I used to eat those as a kid when I would go to my grandfather's house. He would always have a little candy dish with chocolate-covered coffee beans in it.

hi danishcanadian, my nanny used to serve the fresh coffee beans from her own land. I found it's pretty hard to be chewed. But for the taste of mixing the coffee and chocolate is no doubt at all! I do love the coffee and chocolate chips while I'm getting coffee in starbucks! But I'm totally confused on chewing the coffee beans.

At a lot of coffee shops and specialty places they actually sell chocolate coated coffee beans, their absolutely to die for.
I love eating coffee beans, but i have to have them with chocolate or i start to feel ill, and since i don't eat much of anything with sugar, at all, i can only eat a couple.
Anyway hows things been going for you? it's been a while, i know, I've been working nights and only get on line once in a while, so it's hard to keep in touch with many people.

Yummy, I used to be able to buy packs of chocolate covered coffee beans, absolutely addictive things although they would keep me awake for ages. Unfortunately the shop has closed now so perhaps I should take a leaf from your book and make my own.

Wow..I have never tried eating them fresh though but so far I have only tried in drinks like chillers, chocolate coated ones, biscuits, cakes, desserts and dishes ( yummy... chicken cooked with coffee ). Guess, it must have tasted so good to you and the caffeine had definitely made the impact that u feel great after that. How did it taste like I wonder/
