Personally, I say no. I think the Celtics will be tested for sure! There's no denying the Lakers are a GREAT team, but not good enough to beat the Celtics 4 times... What do you think? Who wins? How many games does this series go? Don't forget the Lakers didn't get THIS good until the Gasol trade...will the Kobe, Gasol pair be enough? Gimmie your thoughts on this, we've only got till Thursday to discuss..... DallasFAN99 prediction: Celtics win in 7 games.

Let's see. Either you pick a team that's like a bunch of Energinzer Bunnies or do you go with a major pick with Phil Jackson as a coach in a championship game. It's a tough decision. It does seem that the longer the series goes, the more it favors the Celtics. I would like to pick but I don't really know for sure. It's tough. Either go with the Energinzer Bunny franchise or the team with perhaps one of the best coaches of this generation.

Oh good point! I didn't think about that. You MUST consider experience of the coach too! I wonder how many times Phil has been to the finals, as player or coach...I know it's a bunch and that shouldn't be forgotten. Well done.

Thanks. I believe Phil Jackson has been to the finals now 11 times as a head coach and 2 as a player. I could be wrong but I believe it's something to that effect. I was thinking about that and all I can say is this isn't going to easy for either side to have the advantage based on the players.

Well, to that I say yes, and no. Having Jackson as coach is a definite bonus for the Lakers, but he can't play the game for them... Don't forget the Lakers were one of the worst teams overall near the beginning of the season. They didn't become GREAT until post-Gasol trade. It's still going to come down to how the players match up against eachother. I mean the coach can try to play the "chess" game against the other coach by subbing the bench in from time to time, but the Celtics are a very deep team. I believe it's going to be an unhill battle for LA.

I think that it will be a good series and I'm not sure who will win. I like the BIG 3 and I want them to win a champisonship because none of them have one. But the Lakers have the MVP Kobe Bryant. I never really liked Kobe I always thought he was over rated but I have to say he has grown on me. He is a great player and the best in the league. And I think that he will give the Big 3 a hell of a run for there money.

I feel the love that people been giving to Kobe I do believe he deserved his first MVP this year. I just don't see Kobe carrying the team past the celtics cause thats whats it going to take. Lets remember that neither of the big 3 on the celtics have a ring and are on the verge of the end of their prime if not on the edge. Lets also remember that Kobe also had Shaq all three times he won the title. Pau Gasol is a great player but weak when compared to a young Shaq. Kevin Garnett knows this could possible be his last chance to see the promise land, he will take over in this series making everyone forget about everything the Lakers and Kobe did this season. So Kobe prepare for next season because the celtics got it in 6 games.
