Little Gods replacing the Old Gods

In the past two decades I have seen a very fast new trend taking over the past beliefs.The powerful Gods and their Prophets of the past are gradually losing their ground specially in Asian countries.They are being replaced by Babas,Gurus,Tantriks,and so colled teacher who teach Art of Living in their different ways.However,I have found one thing in common that they keep the old powerful god as a suppot in the background. I would be enlightened to get your views. Bless you, Rajasir
