I use debit cards, and occasionally store credit cards. I only keep cash for lunch, and also for gas, in case they charge more for using a card. I don't like to carry a lot of cash around with me.

I try to use cash if I have it but normally end up using my credit or debit card.

I would rather use cash all the time, but sometimes i have to use my card. At least i do know the number now!!
I still use the cheque book when it gets to the end of the month, it took my hubby years to teach me to write on the chegue stubs!!!
Cash is best as I do shop better nad get more bargins etc because once the money has gone from your purse then there is no more buying.

Since I only make planned shopping, I always use credit card. I only buy the things that I need and when I buy something, I always make sure that I have a budget for the items before buying them. So I use the credit card first and just set aside the money in the bank for a month and just withdraw that amount when I need to pay for my credit card dues. In that case, I can still earn some interests for my money in the bank. Another advantage of using the credit card for shopping is gaining some rewards points from the credit card company which could be exchange for gift items. Just spend wisely and you will not have a problem with shopping using a credit card.
