I guess I never really thought much about it. I think all children are beautiful, yes some are cuter than others, but for the most part they are so special in their own way. Where I live we don't have a huge Oriental population but when I use to live in the western US we did, and I loved going to "Chinatown". I remember first going as I was a teen and I was so amazed by the people and how traditional they were, needless to say that was a long time ago and I have been back there a few months ago and some has changed but some of the population has not. I think that the little girls in their traditional Chinese dresses(not sure if that is what you call them or not) are so pretty. I have to say that as I was reading your post I had to laugh because you say that western children look so perfect, and as I look at children from the Oriental they seem to have beautiful skin tone, and perfect hair. So really I guess it just depending on where you come from. Maybe when you are a different race/ethnic background, you notice things that people from that race/ethnic background do not.
