I joined mylot before three days. i would like to know which ones fetch us more earnings on mylot? starting a new discussion? or responding to a discussion? or adding photos and the like.....can u share your experience with mylot?

Mylot pays you on the quality of your post. Avoid abbreviations and other shortcuts. Write at least 3 to 5 sentences per post, regardless if your just responding to a post or creating a new one.
Also you can add relevant images to your posts to add to your earnings.
Invite other people to mylot. You earn 20% from their earnings. Get as many friends in mylot. Remember that your posts will get paid only if they are responded to.

If you want to earn more on mylot, the most important thing you should do is to do more posts in high quality. Both starting a new discussion or responding to a discussion are okay. The basic point is to keep your posts interesting and relating to the topic you are responding too. Give more advises or suggestion which are really helpful. This can help you increase your reputation on mylot. And your reputation higher, the earning is better.
